the Center is a community resource center located at the Empowerment Systems office in Apache Junction. Community members are welcome to learn about all of our FREE services and programs!

In partnership with Local First AZ and Pipeline AZ, we help provide a centralized resource for rural career exploration and preparation in an effort to optimize how job seekers, students and businesses connect while keeping residents working in or near their hometowns.

Hydration Center (Pinal County Heat Relief Network)

By providing a dedicated onsite technology for employment assistance such as job searches, resume writing, unemployment applications and other forms of workforce development, the Center provides a unique resource to our community members!

Community Outreach Resource Connection (CORC)

The Community Outreach Resource Connection Program, known as CORC, employs trained assisters to help community members identify and enroll in healthcare benefits and social services for which they are eligible.

CORC assisters provide mobile services at our resource center in Apache Junction and at various satellite locations in the greater Phoenix area. Our trained assisters are qualified to help individuals and families apply for an array of services including:

AHCCCS

KidsCare

Marketplace Insurance

TANF (Cash Assistance)

SNAP (Food Stamps)

Unemployment

Low cost housing assistance

And much more!

In 2021, Empowerment Systems received a generous Season for Sharing grant that allowed the Community Outreach Resource Connection and the Center to not only continue to provide these vital services but expand into other areas of need, including homelessness prevention.  We were able to solidify current partnerships and expand partnerships within the community!
